Ethnic identity:
Rangpur region is a very fertile plain as it consists of a riverine floodplain. Many outsiders have come to the area to facilitate farming and animal husbandry. About 5,000 years ago, the region was inhabited by the Negroboats, who did not know animal husbandry and farming. About three thousand years ago, the Austrian nation crossed the valley of Assam and entered this country. Gradually they developed an agrarian society. Among the inhabitants of the Rangpur region, the influence of Rajbangshi Koch, Mech, Khen, etc. ethnic groups can be seen.
